It’s that time of year again, and Soccer City is happy to announce its biggest and BEST soccer sale ever! Goalkeeper Wanted for Select Team

SURREY UNITED CELEBRATES MILESTONE
Surrey United Soccer Club celebrated a milestone on October 18th. The club turned 40 years old. The festivities started on Friday night when the Masters' Soccer Team sported retro-uniforms donated especially for this occasion by Joe Deacon of SoccerCity. The next day under sunny skies an alumni game took place which saw over 30 players battling it out in front of a good size crowd who were quite entertained by the old and young blood on the field. The game was followed by a social in the clubhouse where of course different versions of the game were replayed.
Finally, the evening concluded with a dinner and dance at the Alice Mackay building in Cloverdale.
Over 200 guests enjoyed a catered meal and live band, but the highlights of the evening were the speeches and the presence of former executive members who laid the foundation for the club, the most notable being Gus Beck, who founded the club in 1968 with six teams. It was truly a memorable event.
Did we mention that President Tom Duncan's team beat Craig Dalrymple's team in the alumni game?

Notice to Coaches
Pre-season practice and early winter practice schedules for the 2008-2009 season are now available on the club website under Practice Schedules in the Field Allocations and Schedules section.

Children's Fitness Tax Credit
For all available information on the Children's Fitness Tax Credit please visit the Canada Revenue Agency website at www.cra-arc.gc.ca. This tax credit is with effect from the 2007 tax year.
