Facts about Registration

This fact sheet is intended to answer questions related to registration. Please avoid unnecessary phone calls prior to the start of the season - with over 2000 players on over 100 teams, the registrars are extremely busy before the start of the season.

• Season runs from September to March with a break from mid December through mid January. Games are played rain or shine.
• Placement on mini and recreational teams is done on a "first received, first placed" basis. Returning players are given preference on last years team provided the registration and payment is received by the Registrar by May 1st.
• We attempt to place children from the same school/neighborhood on the same teams. This is NOT always possible. Requests for specific teams will be considered but NOT guaranteed.
• Players trying out for select teams U-9 to U-18 will undergo ongoing evaluations in addition to formal tryouts. Information for the team tryouts is placed on the home page.
• There is no consideration given to conflicts with practice nights, times or locations .
• Practice times and days are decided by the club. The Registrars do not have information on where and when each coach holds practice. Practices are held outside, mini players will practice inside (usually school gyms) after October 1st.
• Games are usually played on Saturdays and Sundays, but there could be some games scheduled during the week. Youth (11-A-side) players will travel outside of Surrey.
• Please ensure all information on the registration is completed and accurate and that two cheques and a photo (if applicable) are attached.
• You may combine registration fees for more than one child on one cheque, but a separate uniform deposit cheque must be submitted for each player .
• Please mail the registration form along with appropriate documents & payment (with stamp attached) to the address provided on the form
• Confirmation of each registration will not be done.
  Do not contact the Registrars prior to August 15th for confirmation.
