May 4 2020 Update

The COVID-19 outbreak has affected us all. That said, we hope all our families doing well and all playing our part in minimizing its spread to bring it under control as soon as practically possible.  We certainly join you in the challenges of navigating through these uncertain and unprecedented times. We have been meeting regularly to ensure we are proactively working through changes that affect our members, the Club operations, and Club programming now and in the future weeks and months ahead.

BC Soccer released an update on the return to play steps being undertaken on Friday, May 1st. The release shows how active the clubs, including Surrey United, have been with BC Soccer in developing proposed guidelines for BC Government review and consideration in the approach to return to play. For more on the proposed guidelines and considerations see their release here: BC SOCCER RETURN TO PLAY.

On April 15th, BC Soccer extended the “suspension of play” until May 15th.
