Club Leadership Update

The Board of Directors would like to provide the membership with an update on Club Leadership changes that have recently occurred.

Long-standing Director, Denis Harper has stepped down from his role on the Board of Directors after being involved with the management and

oversight of the Club for many years. We would like to thank Denis for his leadership and contributions over the years and wish him well in his future endeavours.

Tom Duncan has chosen to step down from the President's role and the Board is pleased Tom has accepted the appointment to the role of Director Denis Harper has left vacant. Tom will remain in the role for the remainder of Denis' term. Tom brings a long history of Club involvement and leadership to this role and his insights and experience will bring continued success to the Club’s ongoing operations and oversight.

Following the changes noted, the Board has appointed Ali Wilkinson as Club President.  Ali has been with the Club for over 8 years as a parent and team manager and served in several capacities on the Executive Committee over the last two years including VP, Junior Boys, and Executive VP, At Large. Ali has provided support in the SUSC Club raffle, TS3 Inspires Tournament, CSA Club License application process, policy and governance reform, and many other Club initiatives. Ali brings strong leadership and organization skills and her passion for

community and the sport of soccer to this role. Outside of the soccer community, Ali is a Partner in a global engineering company, working as

a Senior Contract Specialist in their in-house legal department. Ali follows a long line of successful Club Presidents, including but not limited to former President, Tom Duncan, and is committed to maintaining their success and each of their legacies in the years ahead.
