Girls U15 Heat Takes 2nd at Provincial B Cup

July 13, 2017

It was another great experience at Provincials and the girls played with a ton of heart, determination and enthusiasm.

All of the families brought their best cheering and support that you could ask for.  It was really nice to see.  We made it through round robin play undefeated against Langley (5-1), Terrace (2-0) and Kelowna (1-1).  It took an amazing goal on a freekick to tie the game up against Kelowna and push us through to the final.

The final game against Kamloops was challenging and it was tough to get our possession game going.  The girls worked hard until the final whistle but ultimately came up short (0-2).  Very nice to earn the silver medal though, especially when you consider what it takes to make it to Provincials in the first place.  Combined with an amazing cup run in Penticton in 2016, we have a lot to be thankful for and many memories to cherish.
