Super Soccer (Adaptive) Program
The 2019 Surrey United Super Soccer Adaptive (Pilot) Program is an 8-week co-ed program aimed at joining children and youth so that everyone can play, barrier free. It is inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding. Through the power and joy of sports our aim is creating a world of inclusion and respect – one athlete, one volunteer, one teacher at a time. Regardless if child or youth has autism, FASD, ADHD, mental health, behavioural, developmental disability, or intellectual disability it is our goal for all children to thrive and play with smiles on their faces, in a fun and safe environment. The training curriculum will involve a broad range of skills and drills in technical/tactical development of the game and various sideline activities for those that require a break from the stimulation of physical play at any time during the session(s). Curriculum based on CSA Learn to Play model.
