As part of the agreement, Unity FC will relocate its game day and training operations to Cloverdale Athletic Park for the 2024 League1 BC regular season. This strategic alliance with Surrey United SC, a premier CSA National Youth Club License holder, reaffirms Unity FC's unwavering commitment to community and the fundamental goal of player and coach development. The agreement will enhance Surrey United SC’s already well-developed Long-Term Player Development player pathway, providing additional player and coaching opportunities for individuals within Surrey United SC programs and Club operations. This reinforces Surrey United SC’s commitment to player development through its “Way of Play” for its approximately 4,400 mini, youth, and adult players. With the upcoming League1 BC season scheduled to kick off in late April, collaborative efforts are underway to enhance the Unity match day experience envisioned at Cloverdale Athletic Park - on Turf Field #2 (Red Barn Fieldhouse). The Unity FC Fans First matchday experience aims to create an immersive and dynamic atmosphere for fans of all ages, players, brand sponsors, and the local community of Cloverdale. An exciting incentive as part of the Unity FC and Surrey United alliance is our soon-to-be launched youth fan initiative. Every active youth player registered to play for Surrey United in 2024 will receive a complimentary season’s pass to all Unity FC home matches at Cloverdale Athletic Park. League1 BC, as part of League1 Canada, completes the missing link in Canada Soccer’s pro player pathway – providing homegrown talent the opportunity to take the next step in semi-professional soccer coming out of their provincial development or varsity soccer season, without having to leave the province. League1 BC provides an additional pathway for youth players that may not pursue a varsity path and are not quite ready for possible advancement into the Canadian Premier League (CPL), Major League Soccer, Project8 (expected launch in 2025), or additional professional leagues in Canada and internationally. Recognizing the financial challenges faced by some families within Surrey United SC’'s membership, Unity FC is committed to making annual donations to Surrey United SC's long established Hardship Fund. This initiative is designed to provide essential financial assistance, ensuring that no child's dream of playing soccer is limited by financial barriers. The Surrey United Spring Finishing School has an emphasis on various ball striking techniques and goal scoring with a focus on repetition of the required technique(s). This is our seasonal coach and manager appreciation event to thank you for all you do! Come out and play or come out just to support your fellow coaches and managers. We will have the same format as in previous years - 8 v 8, four game, round robin tournament with teams being RANDOMLY assembled by the organizers. This event will take place in the evening of Saturday, May 24th, KO at 7:45pm (arrival 7:30) at Cloverdale Athletic Park. There is an ADULT ONLY social following the game(s) in “The Barn”. If you are interested in participating or wish to only attend the social, please complete the form in the link below which allows us the opportunity to have team assignments in advance of the event. 2024 Fall Event Our four team round robin tournament saw hard fought competitive games on CAP #3. Close, low scoring matches was the flavour of the evening that ultimately saw Team Black prevail and be crowned Fall Champions. The post matches social was well attended with pizza supplied by Panago. Thanks to all that attended and hope to see everyone for the Spring 2025 event. 2024 Spring Event A warm, sunny Cloverdale night saw 4 teams battle to be crowned champions of the 2024 Spring Coaches' / Managers' tournament. Competitive games saw Team Green prevail with 2 wins and 1 tie to claim the championship trophy. 2023 Fall Event The largest turn out in 14 years saw the closest ever competition. Five teams in a four game round robin saw the implementation of a a tie breaker (goal difference) in order to crown the White Jersey team as champions - congrats. Many stories were shared in the post tournament/game social in the Barn. Thank you to all our Coaches and Managers that contribute to SUSC. 2023 SPRING Event Despite the rain, turned out to be a fairly successful first ever SPRING Coaches' / Managers' Game. Thanks for all for coming out, playing and taking part in the post game social. SUSC appreciates the time you commit to the club by being involved in coaching and managing teams. Congrats to Team Black who, despite the total randomness of the team selections, proved to be just too much for all the other teams. Thanks and see you all in the fall!

There will be certified First Aid and CPR personnel on site throughout the event. SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS The intention will be to group teams from the same ages/levels. However, the final groupings may combine teams that have a one year difference (i.e., a group with U10 & U11 teams). LOCATION All events will take place at Pacific Academy Christian School in Surrey (10238 168th Street) as the centralized location for this event. The event will be held in the three gymnasiums on site, and parking is plenty on the school campus. Refunds are subject to a $150 administration fee and must be requested a minimum of 7 days before the event’s registration closes. There are no refunds for any reason after that time. Age-groups and tournament groups will be closed once capacity is reached. This will be handled on the first come / first served basis.
