Kit Transition: Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why is Surrey United switching to Macron?
After a thorough RFP process, Macron was selected for its high-quality performance gear, advanced customization options, strong Canadian presence, and ability to support a more robust online store experience. This new partnership allows us to offer greater choice, improved fulfillment, and stronger long-term value for members, while keeping pricing affordable.
2. When will the new uniforms be introduced, and what does this mean for my current gear?
New Surrey United uniforms supplied by Macron will launch in Fall 2026, aligned with the start of the new season.
Current uniforms remain fully approved through the entire 2025–26 transition year. All existing red Adidas jackets will continue to be approved and may be worn beyond the transition.
3. How will I order SUSC-branded gear under the new partnership?
Beginning Fall 2026, all uniforms, training wear, and fan wear will be available through a dedicated SUSC–Macron online club store. The new store will offer easy ordering, improved availability, faster fulfillment, and a wider selection of Surrey United custom merchandise.
4. Will pricing change with the new supplier?
Affordability was a priority in the RFP process. Macron offers competitive pricing without compromising quality.
5. What stays the same during this transition?
Our colours, identity, and club branding remain unchanged. Families can continue using their current gear throughout the transition year, and red jackets remain approved long term. Member comfort, value, and flexibility continue to be top priorities.
Macron Partnership
Surrey United Soccer Club is excited to announce our transition to a new brand and supplier partnership with Macron, beginning in Fall 2026.
Who is Macron?
Macron is a globally recognized performance brand trusted by professional clubs across Europe, including teams in Serie A, La Liga, and the English Football League. Known for high-quality technical apparel, Macron delivers pro-level gear for the demands of the game while offering youth clubs worldwide access to the same trusted standards. Here in Canada, Macron is also the current official kit provider of the Canadian Premier League, further reinforcing its strong and growing presence within the Canadian soccer landscape.
Why the Change?
As we concluded our contractual term with Soccer Express and Adidas, an extensive RFP process was undertaken which evaluated the service-level needs for a rapidly growing club, affordability for our members, our evolving brand identity, and future opportunities for custom design and fan wear. Through this new partnership, Surrey United SC will be able to offer:

Greater access to merchandise in our club’s signature red, including expanded custom Surrey United pieces

A more robust online member store with improved availability, inventory fulfillment, and member experience

A community-driven support model, where a portion of the partnership reinvests directly into a dedicated Financial Support Fund to help offset programming and kit costs for players facing financial barriers

Affordable pricing for families, without compromising quality or performance
Transition Year
To ensure a smooth and respectful changeover:

2026 will be a full transition year with Macron brand uniforms coming online over the course of the year, slowly replacing Adidas over the course of the year

All red Adidas all weather and stadium jackets purchased this season remain fully approved for two years, through the end of the Fall/Winter 2026/27 season

No player or family will be expected to purchase new gear until the Macron line officially launches in Fall 2026
