Tonight, our Surrey United players and staff came together on the field wearing orange shirts to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Surrey United Soccer Club acknowledges the shared, unceded traditional territory of the Katzie, Semiahmoo, Kwantlen and other Coast Salish Peoples on which we work, play, and learn.

As a club, we stand in recognition of the children, families, and communities affected by residential schools, and we commit to continuing the important work of listening, learning, and supporting reconciliation.

Thank you to everyone who showed up in orange—it was a powerful reminder that sport has the ability to unite us in respect, remembrance, and hope for the future.
