Elite Competition. Proven Pathways.

The BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) was created through a collaborative effort between BC Soccer, Canada Soccer, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the BCSPL Founding Club Franchises, and the broader BC Soccer membership. Its mission is clear: to provide a standards-based, high-performance environment that supports the development and identification of top-tier players from U14 to U18, across both male and female programming.

Seasonal Structure

The BCSPL season runs from September to June each year for U14-U17 age groups. This structure ensures consistent, high-level competition and development opportunities throughout the year.

Development-Focused & Standards-Driven

In partnership with its Development Partners, the BCSPL is committed to advancing:

  • Player development

  • Coach education

  • Referee training

All within a standards-based game environment that mirrors national and international best practices.

Surrey United: A Founding Force

Surrey United Soccer Club is proud to be one of the 8 Founding Club Franchises of the BCSPL. Since the league’s inception, SUSC has provided a high-performance platform for elite youth players to train, compete, and grow.

Our BCSPL program is led by Jeff Clarke, SUSC Sporting Director and BCSPL Technical Director, ensuring that our athletes receive expert guidance and mentorship at every stage.
