SUDA MAX Player Development Academy: Elevate Your Game This Season
The Surrey United Spring SUDA MAX Academy is an eight (8) session program designed to give 2020-2014 born players a progressive player centric training curriculum to support their personal soccer development throughout the spring season.
Surrey United Soccer Club is dedicated to individual growth within an inclusive, high-standards environment. Operating out of the premier facilities at Cloverdale Athletic Park, our Academy offers tailored training for players of all skill levels. The program is powered by a best-in-class curriculum designed by our renowned Technical Department, led by Sporting Director Jeff Clarke and Technical Director Troye Flannery. We believe in bridging the gap between hard work and fun to build lasting, elite habits.
The player academy programs provide access to individualized training for players of all skill levels and experience in the sport at our exceptional facilities within Cloverdale Athletic Park and registration is open for:
-
Current and new Surrey United players
-
Players from outside the club
-
First-time participants eager to try soccer
Skill Development Meets Game Intelligence
Our player academy curriculum blends skill acquisition with skill advancement. Delivered by certified club coaches, the SUDA MAX program uses a high-repetition station format to master four core pillars:
-
The Finishing Matrix: Goals, Goals, Goals,
-
The 1 v 1 Matrix: Confidence In/Out of Possession
-
The Skill Zone: Ball Mastery, Ball Manipulation and Ball Control.
-
The Decision Training Zone: Competitive games to sharpen game understanding and intelligence.
Designed to exceed Canada Soccer’s Youth and Children’s License standards, our pathway ensures your player stays ahead of the curve.
*NEW for 2026: A Physical Literacy component developed from our Movement Matrix has been added to the curriculum.
Affordable, Accessible, and Community-Focused
High-level training shouldn’t come with a high price tag. Surrey United is committed to making soccer accessible to everyone in our community. Whether you're a beginner or an elite athlete, our Academy programs offer top-tier coaching at a fraction of the cost of other sports programs.
