SUDA MAX Player Academy
SUDA MAX Player Academy
Program Overview
The Surrey United Fall SUDA MAX Academy will be a sixteen (16) session program designed to give U7-U14 (2018-2011 born) players a progressive training curriculum to continue their soccer development throughout the fall season. The training sessions will be held on Mondays at Cloverdale Athletic Park and is open to all experienced and non-experienced soccer players inside and outside of Surrey United Soccer Club and those individuals that want to give soccer a try for the first time.
Surrey United Soccer Club prides itself on individual player development and advancement in an inclusive environment while embracing fun, hard work and good habits. The player academy programs provide access to individualized training for players of all skill levels and experience in the sport at our exceptional facilities within Cloverdale Athletic Park. The academy programs are supported by a best in class curriculum developed by our Technical Department: SUSC Sporting Director Jeff Clarke, SUSC Technical Director Troye Flannery and SUSC Assistant Technical Director Ronan Kelly.
Our player academy training curriculum includes a broad range of both technical and tactical drills, emphasizing skill development and decision training. The SUDA MAX program is delivered in a station format featuring new additions to our curriculum: the Finishing Matrix, the 1 v 1 Matrix, the Skill Zone (Ball Manipulation) and the Decision Training Zone (Competitive Games). The curriculum is developed in a manner that exceeds the guidelines of the industry standard Learn to Play Pathway and Canada Soccer’s Youth and Children’s License philosophy standards.
The Surrey United Player Academy Programs are extremely affordable in comparison to many other player academy programs and similar training programs both within soccer and across other sports. SUSC is proud to be able to support all interested participants throughout the community with a wide range of academy programs that provide accessibility for all players at any level of play that wish to participate in or learn more about soccer.
Registration will remain open for all Fall player academy programs until capacity is reached. Interested participants are encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment. Program sessions days and times are subject to final field allocations from the City of Surrey.
