Registration Information - 2020/21 Fall Winter
GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
All registrations must be done online through POWERUP
All new registrants must first create an "adult" account with POWERUP before registering for a program and complete the following steps:
Add the child as a player
Select ‘Edit Player’ to upload the player's photo (Headshot) and the player's Birth Certificate
Instructions are in POWERUP
There will be no in-person registration
Registration fee payments can be made online by credit card (VISA or MasterCard)
NO CHEQUES OR CASH ACCEPTED
Prepaid VISA/MasterCard are accepted
Registrants without online access are asked to register online with the assistance of a friend, relative, employer, or via public facilities (local libraries provide free online access)
BE PREPARED BEFORE STARTING - You will need the following information in order to complete the registration process:
Credit Card information
Birth Certificate or Passport for each new player (CareCards are NOT acceptable)
CURRENT photo of players for ID cards (Have HEADSHOT only ready to upload)
Registrations missing any of the above-noted items will not be processed
HOW TO REGISTER
To register to play soccer with Surrey United Soccer Club simply click on the REGISTER NOW button above. You will need to create a username and password to create your account (the Adult) and fill in the set-up and registration pages to complete the registration. The information you enter into your account will be saved so as you register for other programs or register other children in your family in the future you will not need to re-enter the information each time. Please ensure you keep your information up to date as this is the club's primary source of information should we need to contact you. Further Instructions are in POWERUP.
PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
All payments must be done online through POWERUP. If you cannot pay by credit card, you must contact your respective registrar (Lisa Finkle for Mini Players or Erin Billing for Youth Players) BEFORE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINES to make other arrangements.
We will only be accepting payment by credit card (VISA or MasterCard). There will be no cheques or cash accepted. [PREPAID CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTABLE AND CAN BE PURCHASED AT MOST LARGE RETAILERS.]
To apply for a refund, email the Mini Registrar (U6 through U10), Lisa Finkle, or the Youth Registrar (U11 through U18), Erin Billing. Any refund request must be received in writing before July 31, 2020. Refunds are subject to an administration fee of $100. For further information please review the Surrey United Soccer Club Refund and Collections Policy and the additional COVID 19 Supplementary Refund Policy.
If you are applying for financial assistance (e.g. KidSport, Jumpstart, etc.), the application is your responsibility and not the responsibility of the Surrey United Soccer Club. You must contact the Mini Registrar (U6 through U10), Lisa Finkle, or the Youth Registrar (U11 through U18), Erin Billing, and provide them with a copy of your application for funding before the registration deadlines. Once received, the Registrar will make arrangements with you for online registration. Your registration must then be completed on POWERUP by the registration deadline to guarantee placement on a team.
Financial Assistance Resources:
If the funding received does not match the total registration fee due, you will be responsible for the remaining balance at the time of registration.
Returning Players and Special Requests
Best efforts are made to fulfill the player’s requests for specific teams/coaches/friends but are NOT guaranteed. If a player requests to NOT be placed back on the team they played on during the previous season, that request must be made in the "Comment" section of the registration. This is found at the bottom of the page called "Register - Other Information". Every effort will be made to accommodate this request, but it is NOT guaranteed.
2020-2021 REGISTRATION FEE SCHEDULE
IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MINI PLAYERS - U8 through U10 (born 2011 - 2013) PAY THE BASE RECREATIONAL RATE OF $325.00 FOR THE SEASON.
****$150 development fee applies to those players assigned to a development team for the 2020/21 season.

Completed registration means photo uploaded (headshot), proof of age submitted, and, at a minimum, the 'hold my spot' payment submitted.
Full fees must be paid for the two oldest children
Subsequent children pay 50% of their applicable registration fees. (NOTE: A family is considered to be siblings who reside in the same household). Please contact the correct registrar to have a PROMO code issued for this discount if applicable to your situation
Please note that the family rate does not include the U5 program (Future Prospects Program)
Players are contacted by Surrey United Soccer Club coaches/managers once team lists are received by the team coach/manager in late August or the first week of September. Any player that has registered but does not attend, participate or communicate their absence to their club coach/manager, or to Surrey United Soccer Club will be removed from team lists by September 30th.
