Goalkeeper Training Academy
SUDA Fall/Winter Goalkeeper Training Academy
Program Overview
Surrey United Soccer Club prides itself on individual player development, and
advancement in an inclusive environment embracing fun, hard work and good habits.
The player academy programs provide access to individualized training for players of all
skill levels and experience in the sport supported by best in class curriculum, facilities
and developed by our Technical Department.
The curriculum for the Fall Goalkeeper Training Player Academy program is structured to
consistently test and challenge all goalkeepers and give them the technical focus and
instruction required for success within the position. These sessions will be open to
players in the 2008 – 2015 age-group and will be held on Mondays at Cloverdale
Athletic Park.
Our Goalkeeper Training Academy Head Instructor is Tyler Baldock. Tyler is a
graduate of Carson-Newman College in Tennessee and played with the Vancouver
Whitecaps FC from 2007-2009. In addition to being SUSC’s Head Goalkeeper
Instructor; Tyler has also been the Head Goalkeeping Coach for the SFU Men’s Varsity Team since 2014. He has coached goalkeepers for over 14 years in Surrey and the Lower Mainland and will continue working with Surrey United’s young goalkeeper prospects again this Fall.
