Muchtar Ganief

Head Coach

Boys U15 (2011) Team 

Muchtar Ganief, a BCSA Provincial B License Coach, is set to lead the 2011 BCSPL Boys with his extensive coaching background. With 7 years as a SUSC Development/Select Coach, 2.5 years as a Coach for SUSC, and 5 years coaching youth teams with NDSC & Surdel Girls, Muchtar's coaching journey spans over a decade. At Surrey United, Muchtar has been instrumental in the success of various teams, including the recent achievements of the 2005 BCSPL Girls team Provincial Champions and their qualification to Nationals SUSC Technical coaching team since 2017. Muchtar's expertise and passion for fostering technical excellence in players make him a valuable addition to the SUSC coaching team.

Head Coach

Frazer moved to Canada in 2016 and started coaching at Guildford United Athletic Club before moving over to join Surrey United Soccer Club as a Club coach. Fraser played professional soccer back home in the United Kingdom before retiring in 2003 due to a broken leg. After his playing career ended in 2003, he became a sports coach working with young children in elementary schools in the United Kingdom.

Troye is a Canada Soccer National A License certified coach, with over 20 years of leadership experience throughout Western Canada. Troye was the University of Calgary Dinos women's soccer team head coach and has been previously awarded the Alberta Soccer Association Bert Goldberger Technical Award for his work with St. Albert Soccer Association, an award that recognizes individuals who provide technical leadership that enhances the reputation of soccer in the province and inspires others to improve the game of soccer from a regional, provincial, national, or international perspective. He previously served the Men’s Soccer program at Trinity Western University from 2007-2009 in a full-time assistant coach capacity and later as a part time coach for several seasons. Troye was the Calgary Foothills Girls Academy Director, Head Coach and General Manager of the UWS Team (Women’s Semi-Professional), Calgary Foothills WFC, and served as Technical Director in other youth clubs in Western Canada, most recently Chilliwack FC. Troye was also the Technical Director of the Unity FC League 1 team.

Mariah Wright grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and started her career specializing in technique and body mechanics with individual players. For the past 7 years, she has been coaching various groups including youth, men and women’s teams. She is associated with the Black Canadian Coaches Association as a mentee.
