Powered by Surrey United Soccer Club (SUSC) in partnership with the City of Surrey, this state-of-the-art facility is set to officially open its doors for the Fall 2026 season later this month. Here is a quick look at what’s coming and why it’s a game-changer for athletes across the community.
What’s Inside the New Facility?
The 37,000 sq. ft. rigid metal frame structure delivers a world-class, year-round athletic experience:
All-Weather Turf: Featuring three flexible turf field pads (or one full 9v9 field) with interior lighting for year-round play.
Spectator Mezzanine: A elevated viewing deck for parents and supporters, along with multi-purpose room spaces for team meetings and community events.
Universal Accessibility: Backed by a $250,000 provincial grant, the building includes full elevator access and inclusive design elements to ensure athletes of all abilities can train here.
Seamless Connections: New pedestrian pathways, improved road access, expanded parking, and upgraded outdoor turf field connections are in the final planning stages.
What This Means for Local Sports
For SUSC’s members - and the broader local sports community - no longer will wet West Coast winters mean cancelled practices or soggy gear.
Younger groups (U2–U7) will run their programs exclusively indoors once the facility opens late September, while players across all other ages and abilities gain dedicated access to dry, high-caliber field space year-round based on their individual team schedule.
