Tournament season is just around the corner, and many of our teams are eager to join the fun. Tournaments are a fantastic way for players to create lasting memories, bond with teammates, and challenge themselves against new competition.

If your team is considering entering a tournament, start by checking out the BC Soccer list of sanctioned tournaments:

These events meet BC Soccer’s standards for quality and safety, making them a great option for your team and are fully sanctioned for Surrey United teams participation.

A few important reminders:

Notify Your Technical Lead: Please let your technical lead know if your team plans to participate in any tournament.

Travel Permits for Out-of-Province Events: Heading outside BC? A travel permit is required. You can find all the details and necessary forms on the BC Soccer website. These can take several months, so plan ahead and plan early!

Be sure to discuss tournament plans with your member families and plan ahead! These events require additional costs, so careful consideration will help ensure a positive experience for everyone!

Use the 2025 raffle ticket proceeds your team generates to build a tournament fund to help offset the costs!
