U5 Spring Future Prospects Program
2021 Spring U5 Future Prospects Program
COVID-19 restrictions related to gathering have an impact on field times and the number of players in any program. PROGRAM TIMES AND FIELD LOCATIONS ARE TENTATIVE AT THIS TIME AND WILL BE CONFIRMED BY THE END OF FEBRUARY ONCE FIELD ALLOCATIONS ARE FINALIZED THROUGH THE CITY OF SURREY.
This exciting introductory soccer program is for players looking to learn the
fundamentals of soccer, and take part in a number of activities that allow them
to not only learn some basic soccer skills but also contribute to their physical literacy
development. This program is open to all participants born 2016-2017 and is
designed to give young players a basic introduction to the beautiful game of soccer.
All participants are required to have a parent/guardian (can be relative 16 years+)
who is actively involved in the session. The parent/guardian participation can range
from ‘encourager’ right up to going step-for-step with the future soccer star; the staff
for the session will be the one who decides this on the day.
There will be limited registrations accepted into this year’s program to meet social gathering restrictions and limited field resources. This means we will be able to accommodate fewer participants than we have in previous years. Interested participants are encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment.
The program is eight (8) one hour practices tentatively scheduled for Wednesday evenings April 28th – June 16th, 2021.
Preliminary Training Times
6:00PM – 7:00PM
A second program session may be added from 5:00pm - 6:00pm if there is sufficient registration
$75.00 which includes 8 one-hour professionally coached training sessions and a training shirt.
