Sponsorship Coordinator

Independent Contractor Position 

 

The SUSC Sponsorship Coordinator is responsible for driving and increasing the overall club sponsorship program as a valued member of the SUSC Sponsorship Committee. This individual is also engaged in a broader, strategic sponsorship and partnership working group focused on the upcoming capital project and community partnerships we will be engaging with as part of our future collaborations. Event Coordinator

Independent Contractor Position

Club Coach Position

Independent Contractor Position 

SUSC is seeking new club coaches to add to its talented and committed technical team. 

 

Overview

As a club coach, you will be assigned coaching assignments throughout all months of the year. Flexibility and a willingness to work across all age groups and levels of play is critical to the overall success of this role.

 

Experience & Qualifications

The strongest candidates for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a team and work independently with limited oversight

  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Minimum expectation of grassroots coaching certifications (Fundamentals, Learn to Train, Soccer for Life)**

  • Criminal Record Check

  • Respect in Sport: Activity Leader

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a soccer club or academy

Preference will be given to those undergoing or having successfully complete their CSA Children's and/or Youth License certifications.**

**a successful candidate may be provided the opportunity to provide a coach development plan that includes the completion of any of the above requirements not yet attained. 

Remuneration will be on an hourly basis, based on the current staff compensation rate that is commensurate with the level of experience of the candidate. There is a potential to increase hours and responsibility over time with the club.

We rely on our volunteers to provide support to our programs and operations every year. Volunteering with Surrey United is a great way to keep our excellent program of youth soccer continuing in Surrey. You'll meet friendly new people or re-acquaint yourself with some you already know. You'll share a great experience together and have fun doing it.
