Independent Contractor Positions 

Surrey United Soccer Club’s mission is to promote and develop soccer in our community through the delivery of programs in a supportive and inclusive environment in which volunteers, players, coaches, managers, and officials feel welcome and safe and provided with the support necessary to participate in soccer for life at the highest level of competition available for their individual skill level. 

 

As part of our continued growth, SUSC is constructing a new 38,000‑square‑foot covered training centre at Cloverdale Athletic Park. This state‑of‑the‑art facility will significantly expand our programming and operational capacity. To support this next chapter, we are recruiting new technical and administrative team members to join our strong and dedicated organizational team.

The areas that SUSC is looking to fill through the current 2026 hiring process are noted below:

 

  • Technical Management Positions

  • Mini Program Technical Lead

  • Facility Operations Manager 

  • Facility Schedule & Booking Manager

Experience & Qualifications

The strongest candidates for these positions will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a team and work independently with limited oversight

  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills 

  • Current Criminal Record check

  • Minimum Grassroots coaching certifications (for technical roles)

  • Respect in Sport: Activity Leaders Certification (for technical roles)

  • Preference given to those undergoing or have successfully completed their CSA Children’s and/or Youth License (for technical roles)

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a similar organization

These positions are structured as independent contractor roles. Total remuneration will be determined based on the final scope and breakdown of responsibilities outlined in the executed contract. All roles require general weekday daytime availability of approximately 10–20 hours per week. Specific terms remain subject to discussion and final negotiation
