U7 Soccer Program

Equipment Needed

  • Shin pads

  • Soccer boots (cleats)

Fall/Winter Program Details

Registration ends May 31st

  • Players are provided shorts, socks, and a jersey with registration fees

  • 1 x 1hr practice per week 

    • outdoors until Thanksgiving​

    • local school gym after Thanksgiving 

  • 1 game per weekend 

  • SUSC technical staff support 

  • no games Thanksgiving weekend

  • no games Family Day weekend

  • Winter Break begins after the 2nd weekend of December until the first week of January

  • The last games are the first weekend in March

Practice and Game Locations

  • Cloverdale Athletic Park

  • Local area parks and schools

 

Game Format

  • U7   4x4 - no goalkeeper

PARENT NOTE:

U7 players are evaluated throughout the season by SUSC Technical Staff which provides insight for identifying players best suited to either the community or development stream at the U8 level. There are no "tryouts" or "evaluation sessions" at this age.  U7 parents can expect an information session on the U8-U10 streaming process with research and rationale behind the process at the end of the season (typically March). Questions about the streaming process will be answered in this informative, educational session.
